Google Pixel 2 vs. Pixel 2 XL: What's the Difference?

In our previous post, we meet that Google has launched 2 new smartphone i.e., Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL and compared the Google Pixel 2 with the newly launched iPhone 8.

In this post we will be comparing the Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2 XL.

It must be noted that Google Pixel 2 is priced at Rs. 42,000 (64GB) while Google Pixel 2 XL is priced at Rs. 55,000 (64GB). To our good luck, India is one of the countries where these phones will be available first. Let’s take a look at other specifications of these phones.

In the matter of design, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL both are similar to the last year launched Pixel smartphone. Both the phone runs on Android 8 Oreo and supports a 3.5mm headphone jack. Pixel 2 is launched in 3 colors-blue, dusty black and clear white while Pixel 2 XL is being released in 2 colors - Jet Black and Black & White. A search bar has been provided at the bottom of the homescreen.

Display and Processor
Pixel 2 comes with a 5 inch full HD (1080X1920 Pixels) display. Its processor is Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 which supports Pixel 2 4GB LPDDR4X. This phone comes in 2 variants-64GB and 128GB.

Camera
Pixel 2 has a 12.2MP back camera and 8MP front camera.

Battery
It has a 2700mAh battery. It is being said that the phone works for around 7 hrs with being charged for only 15 minutes.

GOOGLE PIXEL 2 XL

Pixel 2 XL has similar features as Pixel 2 except the ones mentioned below:

Display
It has a 6 inch QHD (2880X1440 Pixel) display. Its cornering gorilla glass has five coatings.

Battery
Its battery is 3520mAh and can work upto 7 hrs with 15 minutes of charging.

Google Smartphone has been trying to create a foothold in the market for a long time. Recently google launched 2 new Smartphones-Google Pixel 2 and Google Pixel 2XL. Apple has also launched iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus.

Let’s Find Out Which One Is Better Between Google Pixel 2 and Iphone 8

PROCESSOR
Google Pixel 2 has latest android 8 Oreo OS and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. On the other hand iPhone 8 has apple's A11 bionic processor and runs on iOS 11.

CAMERA
While iPhone 8 has 12 MP primary and 7 MP front camera, Google Pixel 2 has 12.2 MP back and 8 MP front camera.

DISPLAY
IPhone 8 has display of only 4.7 inch whereas Google Pixel 2 comes with 5 inch display. Not only this Google Pixel 2 has pixels of 587 ppi as compared to pixels of 326 ppi in iPhone 8.

MEMORY
Google Pixel 2 has 4GB RAM whereas iPhone 8 has only 2GB RAM.

iPhone 8 seems to be lacking in the matter of battery as well as it comes with 1821mAh power battery as compared to 2700mAh power battery in Google Pixel 2.

PRICE
Google Pixel 2 (64GB) is priced at Rs. 42,200 whereas iPhone 8 (64GB) is priced at Rs. 64,000.

In the end it can be said that Google Pixel 2 is better than iPhone 8 as it offers more in lesser price.
